Central Files, 1915 - 1966

This series consists of administrative and resource management records documenting park operations. The decimal files document early park activities such as the Curry Company concessioner, flood conditions in the valley, CCC road constructions activities, claims for damages filed by members of the public, and results of a Federal park "optimum use" survey. Materials consist of correspondence, memorandums, clippings, letters, telegrams, service bulletins, and general reports. Nontextual records consist of maps and photographs.
